Wakili Sumsel di KSN 2019, SMAN 10 Kembali Target Prestasi di KSN 2021

Berprestasi menjadi delegasi Sumsel pada lomba Kompetisi Sains Nasional (KSN) 2019 di Jakarta 2019 lalu, kini SMA Negeri 10 Palembang kembali mempersiapkan siswanya.
Pasalnya, untuk menjadi delegasi Sumsel di KSN harus mampu menjuarai KSN tingkat Kota Palembang hingga tingkat Provinsi Sumsel.
Guna menyiapkan lomba bergengsi siswa tersebur, maka pihak sekolah telah menyiapkan latihan khusus agar siswa benar-benar maksimal.
“Anak-anak sudah kita persiapan. Mereka terus menjalani latihan khusus. Bahkan tak hanya daring tapi juga luring dengan prokes,” ujar Kordinator KSN SMAN 10 Palembang Siti Sopiah MSi, Rabu (2/5/2021).
Ia menambahkan KSN 2021 tingkat Kota Palembang ini akan digelar pada 3-4 Juni 2021. Kompetisi ini dilakukan secara virtual dengan tangkai lomba sains Fisika
Kimia, Biologi, Matematika, Ekonomi, Geografi, Kebumian, Teknologi daj Informatika.
Sementara itu dikatakan Kepala SMAN 10 Palembang Rozali MPd bahwa KSN ini merupakan lomba untuk menunjukkan sejauh mana wawasan sains dari berbagai tangkai lomba yang dilaksanakan.
“Dan target kita adalah juara, karena tahun 2019 lalu saja siswa kita jadi wakil Sumsel di KSN tingkat Nasional di Jakarta untuk kategori sains kimia, mudah-mudahan tahun ini tak hanya kimia,” harapnya.
Meski tahapan masih panjang, ia berharap kepada siswa-siswinya untuk tetap giat berlatih karena setelah menyelesaikan tahap kota harus berprestasi ke level provinsi baru maju ke level nasional.
“Tentu jika sudah masuk ke level nasional, nanti anak-anak akan dilakukan karantina dengan persiapan khusus dan disiapkan pelatih khusus,” jelasnya.
